How Call in Studio Works / FAQ
WebRTC: Host & Screener Connection
WebRTC stands for Web Real-Time Communication. It is an open-source technology that enables real-time audio, video, and data communication between web browsers and other devices without requiring plugins or additional software.
Both Host and call screener connections can be made using WebRTC. Follow the instructions on the call console screen for connecting via WebRTC.
When clicking the link to connect via WebRTC, a new browser window will open and present you with instructions to connect. Once the WebRTC call is connected, you must leave that browser window open and return back to the main host/screen console to manage your calls (in most browsers this will happen automatically).
